Project Director - Infrastructure & Electromechanical

Based in Aswan, the Project Manager will lead multiple projects in Civil and Electromechanical works on the Benban 2GW Solar Park, the largest Solar Park worldwide to realize Civil works for Fences, Roads, Site Grading, Foundations and temporary facilities and execute Electromechanical works for the construction of ground mounted Utility Scale Solar PV Systems. Job duties include: A project manager at EgySolar will be in charge of aspects of time, costs, and execution of infrastructure and electromechanical works in multiple current or future projects Will supervise and lead construction managers and on-site engineers Monitoring progress, providing financial control and ensuring project quality Devising cost-effective plans and methods to enable effective completion of the project Managing risks to avoid delays Ensuring necessary permits and legal papers are secured prior to project commencement Plan through to completion, project directors have overall responsibility for the successful conclusion of the projects. Collaborate with owner engineers, Main contractors and technical department to determine the specifications of the project Negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities Determine needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitations Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies Hire contractors and other staff and allocate responsibilities Supervise the work of laborers, mechanics etc. and give them guidance when needed Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports Ensure adherence to all quality, health and safety standards and report issues
