Opportunity in Saudi Arabia , “ Demand planning and purchasing manager “ is urgently needed Job duties: Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function Review historical sales trends and research demand drivers. Prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results. Lead the process for identifying, developing, and implementing advanced planning methods, systems, and tools, in order to improve forecast accuracy and inventory management. Work with other departments including Operations, New Product Development and Supply Chain to ensure the consistent, cost-effective supply of products to customers Manage inventory targets (including safety stock levels) and scrutinize current and future forecasting analysis, insuring forecasting processes and methods are followed properly by Demand Planners. Systematize the creation of top-level reports to monitor the purchasing and financial performance indicators by the Planning team. Facilitate the Senior Management Forecasting and Inventory management meeting focusing on cross functional communication, direction setting, risk management, and conflict resolution . Successfully and accurately control ERP system and processes, from forecast upload to generation of all inventory reporting . Prepare the annual purchase budget and plan, and ensure to obtain best accuracy level throughout the year. Researching new suppliers & negotiating prices. Perform other duties as assigned by in-charge, able to work overtime when required.
