Establish new communication channels whether within the organization or external to facilitate the work. Monitor shipments to ensure that the goods are delivered on time and collaborate with other parties in case there is any problem to solve it. Issue purchase order as requested ensuring on time delivery of the required quantities. Issue purchase report reflecting the status of purchase orders even they are ongoing or done orders. Follow up on all the departments who have ongoing orders to prevent low/no stock with the warehouse department. Supply Research and Development department with newly discovered or invented materials, chemicals, and manufacturing techniques used globally.
