Cost Accountant

Implementation for ABC costing system - calculation of labor and overhead (burden) rates.-expenses of admin and marketing allocation for products Review daily batches of production (completed batches), explain variances and work with production and inventory management to resolve variances Closing costing periods and analyzing general ledger accounts. Provide management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services Study cost estimation of new and proposed product or service. Ensure accuracy stock controlling on daily basis- controlling inventory transactions comparing balances in different systems quarterly. Participate in annual physical count process and adjustment treatment. Review planning control for raw material to enhance stock evaluation. Upload cost data for products on oracle system (item cost and resources cost) Prepare cost reports on oracle system.
