IT Help Desk

About the job: In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing and configure hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal IT Help desk. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company PCs, printers, scanners, laptops and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades and configurations Major Duties and Responsibilities: Provide help desk support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction. Provide support for all Information Technology products and services. Support may include answering questions and troubleshooting problems. Additionally, it may involve troubleshooting printer issues. Install & maintains operating systems Solve connection problems between laptop and PC to data show Install new hardware Install and configure printer and scanner Responsible for Computer Labs Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk Modify configurations, utilities, software default settings, etc. for the local workstation Document internal procedures Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses Report issues to the Service Desk for escalation Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware and software Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required
