Responsible for all concrete, building materials and concrete pumping sales activities related to target, development and retention customers and to facilitate company efforts to successfully take care of customers and resolve customer concerns to establish a solid relationships as a preferred material supplier of choice. Duties: Build and maintain strong customer relationships with decision makers and those who influence their decision as to who supplies their concrete, building materials and pumping. Develop and maintain a list of target and development customers and build strong relationships with them in order to meet new sales goals. Meet or exceed new and retention sales volume goals. Uncover and understand customer needs and set expectations correctly. Assist customers and Quality Control in expediting required mix design submittals. Project research and review concrete specifications to submit to QC for verification and approval prior to bidding projects. Resolve customer issues fairly and in a timely manner. Assist credit department with collections. Follow, track and understand national and local economic trends and developments that impact the local ready mix market. Be involved in trade associations, Area Chambers and State and Local meetings.
