IT Senior Project Leader

Role Objective: To professionally manage projects requested within the IT department to ensure the high quality of the deliverable and their alignment to the PM methodology and Ensuring consistency with IT PMO strategy commitments and goals. Responsibilities: Handle programs/projects management scope across the IT which includes projects and programs in response to different demands (Business support systems and commercial products and services) Define project stakeholder scope goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management. Conduct Kick off meeting to communicate project objectives and announce project start-up 4. Participate with technical team to estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals. Where required negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company. Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate outsourcing if necessary during project cycle. Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents. Manage complex strategic project from beginning to end in order to deliver its agreed scope within the project constrains (Cost time quality). Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion. Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team. Track project milestones and deliverables and report progress risks issues in timely manners to get proper management attention to put the project on track. Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle. Follow Etisalat IT PMO PM methodology and identify improvement if any. Conduct project post mortems (Lessons learnt) and create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements. Proactively manage changes in project scope identify potential crises and devise contingency plans. Coach mentor motivate and supervise project team members and contractors and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work. Build develop and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project. 18. Perform on-site vendor management (tracking vendor resources activities timesheetï¾…etc) to ensure timely and quality delivery of business requirements (with immediate escalation of major issues or project delays)
