Lotus Project Summary The Lotus project is a project administered by AMIDEAST, it consists of four components; Career counseling and mentoring of students in order to bridge the gap between the students’ academic skills and the requirements of the Egyptian labor force. Career self-assessment and counseling for tailored career counseling. Provide internships for the project students and the Career mentoring and training for design and implementation of implement training sessions or workshops on career or field-specific themes. Position Summary: The Lotus Project needs a thriving and highly organized program specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be in charge of assisting Project Lead and providing all the necessary technical work and maintaining a positive relationship with all students. Responsibilities: Provides assistance in support of the project. Schedules and plans meetings or special events. Meet with students to discuss related concerns or questions. Gathers information and assists in the implementation of reports. Effective implementation of all activities including announcements, presentations, orientations, interviews…etc. Documentation of all the phases of the project. Performs various administrative and operational responsibilities. Coordinates trainings and career counseling sessions. Maintains good contact with all students. Performs all related duties as assigned. Attend outreach activities to promote awareness of Amideast programs. Delegate tasks and monitor assistant, interns and volunteers.
