About the Role: This position is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing a variety of visual elements for our consumers to see and interact with on our numerous websites. Collaborate with Marketing to translate our company and customer needs into functional and appealing interactive applications. Participate in testing and validation procedures to ensure the high quality and performance of all web applications. We are looking for a UI\UX designer who can drive the process for creating unique, easy to use, product interfaces. Some of our interface requirements are unique in that they must look great and modern but must also be easily rebranded to meet our clients’ branding needs. Minimum Qualifications A bachelor's degree in a related field and proven experience in Web design. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Experience in Web development and knowledge of new and emerging Web technologies and techniques. Ability to communicate new media/technology functionality to non-technology audiences. Outstanding written, verbal and organizational skills. Excellent interpersonal skills, a customer-service orientation and the ability to work on multiple projects at a time. Ability to write necessary code for custom applications. Design and photography skills necessary to strategically position the college both across print and electronic media. Thorough understanding of Web server performance and maintenance. Ability to develop and deploy email campaigns. Technical skill set must include: HTML, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript, Bootstrap, SQL, Mobile Development, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
