Agricultural Field Manager

To build a team of field extension engineers and agronomists- To lead the team in successively executing the technical and commercial program through coaching and motivation- To create the technical and commercial program for Farmers by actively collaborating with the technical Adviser as well as with the factory teams- To travel extensively to every onion growing location and identify suitable farmers to be included into the sourcing program- To research and analyse the detailed cost of onion program as well as other competitor crops such as potato, tomato, sugar beet, wheat, etc. in order to recommend the accurate contract price and convince farmers on that price- To design, recommend and operate the contract farming model comprising of technical, operational, commercial and legal terms- To ensure 100% contract integrity by farmers – ensure that farmers supply 100% of their contracted quantity- To ensure that company’s proprietary are seeds protected and there is leakage of seeds to any unauthorised person.- To develop and manage an effective market price tracking system for onion and other competitor crops- To maintain a regimented follow up over all commercial, trial and experimental programs among small holder farmers- To develop a precise monitoring, control and reporting system to ensure a high level of execution of all programs / projects- To follow all safety rules of the company and ensure that the full team follows these rules- To participate actively in implementing Sustainability as per the standards set by company and customers- To implement Global GAP standards
