As part of the growth, the company is currently looking to add to its growing line of electromagnetic device products and services. In doing so, Cerebrus is looking to hire an Electromagnetic Device Design Engineer who will be responsible for electromagnetic and mechanical design of various DC and AC operated devices. Creativity, teamwork and a passion for engineering design is a must. Job Description: Develop concepts for new and innovative electromagnetic devices (solenoids, actuators, motors, etc.) for the automation industry Model and perform electromagnetic analysis in order to optimize certain variables within a design Utilize CAD software to model and design the various products in Solidworks Perform FEA analysis on the product designs to observe/improve the effect of heat and other factors within the design Provide mathematical models and excel based spreadsheets to aid in efficient design of electro-mechanical designs Run risk analysis on all designs and develop mitigation plans for risk factors beyond a given threshold Design in accordance with the company’s ISO 9001 design procedures and be able to clearly provide detailed design reports in English Develop engineering technical data packages and design transfer documents for manufacturing purposes
