• Identify training needs and create an implementation plan to deliver required skills • Consult with line managers to ensure training is conducted on a timely and relevance basis• Develop training courses to cover all needed skills• Maintain training records for all the technical staff • Manage the training and development program in a professional manner • Ensure the material covered within courses is relevant for the purpose and add value for the individual and department • Design and implement a skills testing program to provide a career structure for productive technicians. • Manage training delivery, assessment and follow-up • Submits monthly report on training activities & performance to senior management.
