Senior Automotive Warranty Engineer

Organize and prepare monthly reviews with customer management to review warranty status Tracks location/status of all warranty-returned parts Develops and reports metrics on parts/location/status Identify emerging cost and condition trends securing supporting details for problem solving Lead teams to root cause top external issues and develop solutions Lead teams to root cause top No Trouble Found Receives & reviews returned parts from customer Lead root cause resolution of warranty returns Makes initial determination where part should be sent to obtain root cause Review all repair information to determine the correct course of action in determining the root cause of the complaint/failure and coordinate containment activities with the plant where appropriate Record the daily findings during root cause analysis and publish a summary Facilitates timely responses to the warranty parts and warrant engineering issues Statistical analysis of field warranty cases to identify high impact, high profitability issues that need escalation and action
