Senior PHP Developer

Job PurposeWe are looking for an outstanding Web Developer with PHP to be responsible for managing back-end services, coding, innovative design, layout of websites, design and coding of backend databases, building web services. You will build all of these from concept all the way to completion from the bottom up. Responsibilities Write well-designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices. Develop web services using PHP. Design and build sites and backend databases using PHP + MySQL. Produce detailed specifications. Create site layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS Javascript / AJAX practices. Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores.... etc). Integrate data from various back-end services and databases. Good knowledge of relational databases, version control tools and of developing web services Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, online payment methods…. etc.) Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, Drupal, Wikis, osCommerce, wordpress.....etc. Testing for application bugs Designing the application according to specifications / Coordinating with designers, administrators, and other programmers Prioritizing tasks and daily activities / Organizing projects Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs. Create and maintain software documentation. Be responsible for maintaining, expanding, and scaling our built sites, backend databases and web services. Troubleshoot, test and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality. Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities. Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent. Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle. Develop and deploy new features to facilitate related procedures and tools if necessary.
