Responsible for: Design and implementation using Atmel Studio, Image Craft or other professional developing Platform for Atmel microcontrollers. Develop and maintain C#, C++ and ANSI C applications firmware. PCB design skills using Pcad or Altium Designer. Design and deploy of any development test equipment for the required project. Develop and maintain test fixtures and associated controls hardware. Support electronic testing of prototypes. Knowledge of data acquisition, control, and automation. Continuous improvement of product quality and reliability through hardware and/or software modifications. Troubleshoot problems with electrical functionality for existing products. Documentation of processes, equipment, and products as needed. Project leadership and management opportunities may be assigned in accordance with departmental needs. Responsibility for identifying & scheduling all hardware development tasks in conjunction with the R&D Project Manager. Keep up to date with new Standards in the Industry.
