Responsible for review the booking of Month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing entries. And to ensure its completeness based on the prepared checklist. Responsible for timely and proper completion of assigned General Ledger account reconciliations. Perform financial statements analysis and provide relevant and substantive explanations in accounts on both a consolidated and entity-level basis Monthly & quarterly expenses variance analysis. Handling year-end audits and quarterly reviews, including interacting with external auditors and preparing supporting analysis requested during audit duties. Supervision on the internal audit processes to ensure compliance with the Group policies and local GAAP, as well as execution of controls. Preparation of tax returns and supervision on running tax audits. Reconcile fixed asset sub-ledger vs. general ledger and prepare fixed assets roll-forward transactions and depreciation/disposal transactions. Minimize capital investment in inventory by maintaining stock balances at normal levels to avoid any excessive or shortage of inventory. Minimize risk of loss due to obsolescence, deterioration, waste and theft while in storage etc…and reduce losses, damages and misappropriation of materials Ensure availability of needed inventory for uninterrupted production process and for meeting consumers’ demand; and tiding over the demand fluctuations by maintaining reasonable safety stock. Ensure proper execution of policies covering procurement and use of materials. Also, facilitates timely adjustment with changing conditions in the market. Provide different information/reports regarding inventory for planning and decision-making, through monitoring, recognizing and resolving quantities’ discrepancies. Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the position to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures. Assists higher level jobs in analyzing basic financial reports to provide management with relevant information needed to support operational and strategic decision-making. Assists in the preparation of external financial reports to ensure that internal and external stakeholders have the relevant information needed to make decisions. Analyzes more complex subsidiary financial reports to provide management with relevant information needed to support operational and strategic decision-making. Contacts external customers (Suppliers, auditors, consultants and banks) and internal customers for handling more complex issues. Closely monitor Balance Sheet Accounts, performing aging analysis for Critical Accounts (e.g.,GRIR, Vendor Advances...) on regular basis, coordinate and follow up with responsible person to minimize the overdue balance as possible.
