Reporting to the Production Manager And Plant Manager, the candidate is responsible to develop material and production planning strategy and process improvement. Other job responsibilities include: Implement new tools and systems to improve transparency, efficiency and effectiveness Manage planning parameter setting in ERP/MRP system Improve machines utilization by data analysis and measurement Understand customer demand and translate forecast and orders into production planning Work closely with Customer Service team to meet monthly, yearly sales target and KPI Daily planning with production control on customer's requirements. Liaise with Customer Service Department for release of finished goods Identify, highlight and explain exception to planning assumptions in weekly meeting. Ensure effective use of materials & WIP, follow material plan closely & effectively Ensure minimum holding level of WIP Ensure planning process is reviewed regularly and escalated issues appropriately To improve the present production planning system with implementing new processes or policies if it is required. Regular update to production manager on delivery status.
