Ensuring the Adherence to Group Policy and procedures and highlighting any deviations. Maintaining the Fixed Assets Register, ensuring the Group policies and procedures for new assets and disposals. Process the insurance invoices payment. Tracking the claim settlement. Review of Cash clearing and Cheque clearing Schedules, ensuring no pending items, if any taking appropriate action. Review of all Intra company Balances, ensuring the accounts are clean and clear. Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner. Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable. Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly. Process payroll in a timely manner. Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed. Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis. Maintain the chart of accounts. Maintain an orderly accounting filing system. Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions.
