Direct Sales Engineer

Purpose: Assist in Implement strategies that increase sales volume and market share by developing new accounts; as well as managing purchasing agreements, and report on specific business and market information, establish and maintain relationships with existing and target accounts. Principal Accountabilities: Research different market sectors and find companies to target Identify new business opportunities within the market Build sales pipeline to ensure a continuous stream of sales Pay attention to competitors and their activities within the market Work to achieve annual sales and revenue targets set by the business development manager Work closely with other functions to find opportunities to cross sell. Contact potential customers via telephone , email and face to face Build long term relationships with new and existing customers Negotiate prices with potential customers and close sales deal Provide customers with quotations, develop action plans and facilitate the implementation plan. Prepare monthly reports to business development manager on sales performance.
