1. PURPOSE OF JOB The post holder will be responsible for managing the recruitment team and entire process of recruitment and selection for vacancies within the Cairo site. 2. RESPONSIBILITIES AND END RESULTS Lead the recruitment team for the Cairo site. Through their expertise, knowledge of the local market and contacts establish and grow candidate pool for Agents, Supervisors and key Management positions. Prepare and update market research / studies to be able to understand market capabilities for all available languages in Egypt, providing data on candidate availability, salaries and competitor analysis. Provide local competitor analysis and data to ensure competitive remuneration strategy to allow growth of Cairo site through quality and on time delivery of candidates to meet business demands. Work on partnership with all language universities, academy’s & centres to be able to prepare new pools for all languages, and manage our relationship with other organisations such as Edu Egypt. Prepare pools of fresh graduates & experienced profiles for all languages and work on minimising hiring service levels. Be a Trusted Partner of the Operational teams and the other departments to ensure an understanding of future growth plans and the need for pipeline creation to ensure recruitment needs of the business are met. Manage both the internal and external recruitment and selection process, meeting the agreed recruitment KPIs such as: Closing recruitment requests within agreed service levels Quality of recruitment Retention Continually review the recruitment process with site functions to ensure that the best possible process and quality measures are applied on all new hires as well as efficiency gains. Ensure the recruitment processes and procedures in place support local legal requirements and corporate compliance requirements. Ensure the reporting of progress and status of the open vacancies to key stakeholders. Support the new client sales process during the site visits / RFP responses requiring specific inputs. Develop the Company’s employer branding by building external relationships particularly with universities / schools, student organizations and community, as appropriate. Develop the Company’s employer branding through social media channels. 3. SUPERVISION The post holder will be responsible for managing the recruitment team on site including Recruitment Specialists, interns and third part language assessors. 4. COMMUNICATION The post holder will be expected to have contact with: Internal Operations colleagues such as Account / Department Managers, Team Leaders. Other SYKES locations including HR colleagues at other sites and remote managers with recruitment requirements in Cairo. External organisations such as recruitment agencies and universities. 5. EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED Fluent in written and spoken English Educated to university degree level At least three years experience in fast paced volume recruitment role, preferably in an outsourcing organisation At least two years team management experience Strong knowledge of recruitment and selection processes Strong knowledge of the customer service and European language recruitment market Demonstrate the ability to build effective relationships with internal customers and external suppliers Demonstrate the ability to work in a hectic environment where priorities change hourly and deadlines have to be met daily The post holder will be computer literate with strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of online candidate sourcing and applicant tracking systems would be an advantage Strong network with recruitment agencies would be an advantage 6.
