Responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems software and related infrastructure. He will participate in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure. Participate in software and system performance analysis and tuning, service capacity planning and demand forecasting. Evaluate, respond to, and resolve service issues; design tools and automation to prevent problem recurrence. Design systems monitoring and management solutions using automation and self-repair rather than relying on alerts and human intervention. Suggest enhancements and escalation concerns appropriately to diagnose and remediate underlying system problems and inefficiencies. Work closely with the development team to support requirements and release schedule. Ensure version and change control procedure adherence. Database administration, maintenance and backup. Manage Web apps deployment and updates. Manage security-related aspects of the infrastructure. Participate on a 24x7 on-call rotation.
