Alumni Relations' Supervisor

Supervises, implements and promotes alumni programs. Follow up with admission dept. the introduction of alumni involvement in the admissions process; coordinate with the Dean of Student Services to plan the growth and accessibility of career networking services for students and alumni. Organizes reunions for alumni members. Arranges networking events. Attends national and international events for alumni communities. Assists with the planning and coordination of special events for alumni and serves as liaison SU’s Alumni Association. Organizing Job Fairs and career development counseling for SU graduates. Helps in creating fundraising campaigns. Encourages donations to support bursaries, research and university development. Plans, coordinates, and implements alumni fundraising efforts. Ensures accurate and complete alumni database records; captures contact, biographical and career information of alumni via surveys, projects (e.g. alumni directory), correspondence, website, postal returns, etc. Establishes and builds relationships with a wide range of alumni, locally, regionally, nationally and internationally; maintain regular communication with alumni via direct contact, email blasts, alumni web pages, and print publications. Coordinates alumni communications, including writing/editing of alumni newsletters and/or magazines. Helps research, write, edit and proofread newsletters, fundraising letters, event materials and website pages. Keeps the department’s media contact list up to date and is responsible for following up with media contacts after the college sends press releases. Oversees and maintains alumni database. Issues student graduation certificates, replacement certificates, and new copies of transcripts Verification of education letters and academic references via the Alumni Relations Team
