Has commercial responsibility for (sales) relations in the region. Should actively manage, maintain relations, and develop new relations (sales acquisition). Translates a customer request into a quotation. Costing and selecting the suitable equipment. Prepares quotations including technical specifications. Negotiation and finalization of the quotations with the clients. Coordinating all activities together with the Service Manager and other departments of the company. After receipt of orders: prepares order confirmations, purchase orders and follows up till shipment of the material. Sales support to branch offices and distributors in the region. Tender evaluation, preliminary costing, preparation of specifications and offers. Reports both formal and informal to Service Manager regarding daily business in the assigned region. Consults customers, suppliers and subcontractors. Consults service engineers, project managers and project sales engineers.
